与之相对应的热塑性静态硫化橡胶,就是指橡胶按传统方法先硫化好,然后通过磨粉设备把硫化好的橡胶磨成粉,后与熔融的热塑性塑料共混,理论上这种方法也能制得性能优良的TPV,但到目前为止,只是处于实验室阶段。
组成
TPV主要由二部分组成,一是塑料,作为连续相,二是橡胶作为分散相。通常橡胶需要与软化油或增塑剂与之配合。硫化剂和一些辅助助剂也是必不可少的。另外为了降低成本或者提高某方面的性能,一些无机填料会被填加。
许多塑料和橡胶之间可形成TPV,但仅有个别共混物经过动态硫化后具有实用价值,商业化的有PP/PE/EPDM,PP/NBR,PP/ACM,PS/SEBS。
研究发现,要得到佳性能的橡胶/热塑性塑料动态硫化共混物,必须满足以下条件:
(1)塑料和橡胶两种聚合物的表面能匹配;
(2)橡胶缠结分子链长度较低;
(3)塑料的结晶度大于15%。当塑料与橡胶之间的极性或表面能差别比较大的情况下,添加合适的相容剂,再进行动态硫化,也可以得到性能优良的共混物。
热塑性弹性体的制造方法
通常按制备方法的不同,热塑性弹性体主要分为化学合成型热塑性弹性体和橡塑共混型热塑性弹性体 2 大类。前者是以聚合物的形态单独出现的,有主链共聚、接技共聚和离子聚合之分。
