SOHO尚都是由开发商SOHO中国公司承建，由国际建筑工作室来承担其设计。SOHO尚都是一个面积达170，000平米的多功能房地产开发项目，占地2.2公顷，位于北京集中的都市开发区域---CBD（中央商务区）内。该项目正临北京南北主干道之一---东大桥路，这条路界定中央商务区的西线和中央使馆区的东线。Lab的设计将使SOHO-尚都成为北京的中心地带一道独特的生机勃勃的都市风景线，包括一条包括37，000平米商铺的低层商业街，两座中等高度的SOHO建筑（小型办公，居家办公）。按照的构思，商铺内部是富有动感的现代风格，5层高的商业街立面由一个个变幻的水晶折面构成。设计中还包括一座桥，连接东西商业街。商业街的内部设计将考虑到便于在此举行一系列活动，如时装表演，音乐会，而且可以根据北京多变的天气随时改变成“室外”或“室内”。大楼表面的各个玻璃侧面将雕刻许多相互交织的几何线条。当夜幕降临，灯光打在这些线条上，这些大楼将呈现出别具一格的夜景——恰似光彩照人的珠玉。SOHO•尚都是SOHO中国有限公司在北京CBD建设的第三个项目，是继SOHO现代城、建外SOHO之后推出的新一代升级产品。该项目将以更加前卫更具创新精神的外形，更现代的商业及办公氛围，给北京奉献出一道生机勃勃，极具视觉冲击的都市新景观。

SOHO Shangdu is a multifunctional real estate development project with an area of 170000 square meters, covering an area of 2.2 hectares, located in the most concentrated urban development area of Beijing - CBD (Central Business District). The project is located on Dongqiao Road, one of the main north-south roads in Beijing, which defines the westernmost line of the Central Business District and the easternmost line of the Central Embassy District. The design of the Lab will make SOHO Shangdu a unique and vibrant urban landscape in the heart of Beijing, including a low rise commercial street with 37000 square meters of shops and two medium height SOHO buildings (small office, home office). According to the concept, the interior of the store is full of dynamic modern style, and the 5-story commercial street facade is composed of a variety of crystal folding surfaces. The design also includes a bridge connecting the East West commercial street. The interior design of the commercial street will take into account the convenience of holding a series of activities here, such as fashion shows and concerts, and can be changed to "outdoor" or "indoor" at any time according to the changing weather in Beijing. The glass sides of the building surface will be carved with many interwoven geometric lines. When night falls and the lights hit these lines, these buildings will present a unique night scene - like shining pearls and jade. SOHO • Shangdu is the third project constructed by SOHO China Co., Ltd. in Beijing CBD, and is a new generation upgraded product launched after SOHO Modern City and Jianwai SOHO. This project will present a vibrant and visually impactful new urban landscape to Beijing with a more avant-garde and innovative appearance, a more modern commercial and office atmosphere.
