2: Maintenance-free battery: also known as valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery, the following principles should be followed in use and maintenance:
A: Sealed batteries can operate in a range of 15-50 degrees, but use within 5-35 degrees can prolong battery life. The chemical composition of batteries below minus 15 degrees will change and cannot be charged. The maximum life of the battery will be obtained when it is used in the range of 20 to 25 degrees. The battery will have a long life but a lower capacity when it runs at low temperature, and a higher capacity but a shorter life when it runs at high temperature.
B: The relationship between battery life and temperature can be referred to as the following rules. When the temperature exceeds 25 degrees Celsius, the battery life will be reduced by half for every 8.3 degrees high.
C: The designed floating charge voltage of maintenance-free battery is 2.3V/knot. The 12V battery is 13.8V. CSB recommends 2.25-2.3V per section. When 120 batteries are connected in series, when the temperature is higher than 25 degrees Celsius, the floating charge voltage should be lowered by 3 MV for every degree of temperature increase. The same temperature should be increased by 3 MV for each degree to avoid undercharging voltage. The discharge termination voltage is 1.67V per section at full load (< 30 minutes). In the case of low discharge rate (low current and long time discharge), the charge voltage of APCSYMMETRA can be adjusted according to the load.
D: If the battery is not recharged within 72 hours after discharge. Sulfate will be attached to the plate to insulate and charge, and damage the battery.
E: When the battery is floating or equally charged, the gas generated inside the battery is electrolyzed into water on the negative plate, thus maintaining the capacity of the battery without additional water. However, the corrosion of the battery plate will reduce the capacity of the battery.
