FedEx Express and today announce the global launch of Medpak VI°C, a service first launched in Europe that offers safe and reliable transportation of sensitive healthcare products.
Launched in Europe in 2016, Medpak VI°C is the innovative network solution that allows companies in the clinical trials sector to ship test medications in temperature-controlled, reuseable packaging. FedEx and are now rolling the service out internationally, starting with Asia-Pacific and North America.
Marking a significant development for the FedEx Express healthcare business, Medpak VI°C is also now serving customers in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries in addition to the clinical trials sector. These sectors all rely on excellence in temperature controlled technology to ship high-value and temperature-sensitive products.
