信用=财富 诚信=财富 共赢=财富比如对于物流库存节点的规划是否科学及相对稳定；硬件平台及软件平台是否健全；一国的经济与政治是否稳定等，外部环境的不确定同样会传递到企业的经营，为了减轻或消除不确定性因素带来的风险，库存往往就成为抵抗风险的平衡器。
2.2 传统库存控制策略存在的问题
库存管理问题除了对不确定性因素没有充分的预估外，还存在传统库存控制策略存在问题。
（1） 传统库存控制策略简单封闭。传统的库存控制策略以单纯降低库存成本为主要目标；库存控制策略多数是面向单一企业的，其库存控制没有体现供应链管理的思想，主要是库存使用者管理库存；采用的信息基本上来自企业内部；传统的库存控制是为了满足生产需求，与市场需求相脱离。库存控制是封闭于企业内部的，未能考虑供应链及外部环境不确定性因素，库存管理与外部环境相脱离，导致库存与外部的需求无法很好的匹配，容易造成库存过高或不足现象。
